In the U.S. a woman will die from breast cancer every 13 minutes. I thought this was appropriate since it's October.

Thanks!

Whoa! "Liquid dish soap is the leading cause of poisonings in the home for children under the age of six; most brands of liquid dish soap contain formaldehyde and ammonia. — The American Cancer Society" I never would have guessed that would be the leading cause or that they contained formaldehyde. Definitely makes you wonder what other products contain formaldehyde. Email: jennae {at} greenyourdecor {dot} com

Some products release contaminants into the air right away, others do so gradually over a period of time. Some stay airborne for up to a year.

We use only chemical-free products in our house but I have not heard of this brand and would love to try it. We are trying to get others (family) to stop using chemicals, especially because our daughter is extremely sensitive and we do not want her to be around that. No exceptions. Chemicals, fragrances, etc should really be illegal. It is harming all of life.

PS said...

We've completely transitioned over to all green products, usually home made. The worst thing I have in the house is Borax, which is kept high out of reach!

This was interesting...

Companies are not required by law to list the contents of their products and testing for long-term health effects are not enforced. Toxins, even trace amounts, can be absorbed into your body and organs within seconds of exposure.

Companies definitely have a way of hiding harmful things because they're more concerned with profits than the actual safety of those products. Thanks.
